Mr. Pradeep Goyal

Mr. Pradeep Goyal, the Managing Trustee of CCAA Trust, started his crusade against drug abuse around two decades ago. His lone battle took the institutionalised form in 2003 when he founded Vikalp de-addiction and rehabilitation Centre in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh). Addiction to drugs and alcohol not only affects the individuals involved but also disrupts the family and society of which he/she is also a part of. Mr. Pradeep Goyal understand these concerns very well and has therefore, been a torch bearer of de-addiction. His selfless efforts were also acknowledged by the present government through the "President's Award- 2014 for outstanding work in the field of Prevention of Alcoholism & Substance (Drug) Abuse".Receiving this award from the President himself hadskyrocketed his enthusiasm to intensify the work for victims of this menace. This is evident from the fact that he had received another award, Vayoshreshtha Sammans, in Oct, 2017. This was in return for his services towards the society as an eminent senior citizen. In his de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, he personally ensures that each and every patient of substance abuse is provided requisite counselling and treatment.

In his centre he has employed a 12 Step programme for treating the victims of this deadly addiction. Most of the patients who comes out of his centre transform into productive citizens enhancing the value of the society. He has also been instrumental in employing a psycho-social-medical solution via a holistic approach.
